It has been COLD in Atlanta this week. Schools even closed Tuesday due to extreme cold temperatures. It reached single digits at night. Although some snow was in the forecast, we had to settle on a few flurries.
Being stuck inside with three young kids can be hard, but luckily school started back Wednesday after the holiday break, and Maggie, Tuttle, and Gigi are pretty creative when they are forced to stay inside. :)
Maggie has gotten in touch with her girlie side. I LOVE it! She has mastered prancing around the house in her Minnie Mouse high heels and her purse full of makeup and hair styling tools. I even was successful in Maggie's first ponytail.
Today we finally reunited with Kirsten, Jack, and Lily after the holidays and visited the Georgia Aquarium. It was the perfect day to go because there was hardly a crowd. Tuttle and Gigi especially liked the scuba diver who gave them high fives through the glass and showed off with flips in the water. Maggie was pointing at all the big fish, but she wanted to stay at a safe distance and insisted on being held the whole time. I am lucky she is still so tiny. :)
Since we saw each exhibit fairly quickly because we did not have to wait in lines, the kids were able to see the 3-D movie before we headed home for naps.
Despite the frigid weather, snuggling at home with my babies is the BEST!
