Six Flags Over Georgia

Yesterday Daddy, Tuttle, and I had the absolute BEST day at Six Flags to celebrate Tuttle's 6th birthday. Grandmomy and Grandaddy gave Tuttle this special day for his birthday in April, and we waited for the perfect day to go.
Grandmommy came to the house to watch Maggie and Jacob, so we could focus all our attention on our biggest boy.

I honestly teared up at the excitement on Tuttle's face when we arrived at Six Flags. He was eager to get started with our day and try out his first roller coaster. We started small with the Georgia Mine Train. Luckily he smiled the whole time and wanted to ride again!

Next Tuttle requested to get his face painted. :)

Since the Georgia Mine Train had been such a success, we got brave and decided to introduce Tuttle to the Mind Bender. Although no tears were shed, Tuttle hated it! I think Daddy and I got a little overly confident on Tuttle's roller coaster tolerance. :)

After lunch we got back on track with rides and took Tuttle on the Monster Mansion ride. To say he LOVED it was an understatement. He requested to ride it four more times throughout the day, and since there were ZERO lines, we could!

Some of Tuttle's other favorite rides included the Joker roller coaster, the bumper cars, the Hanson Cars (old fashioned cars that Tuttle could drive himself), Thunder Mountain, the log ride, and the carousel.

We could not go to Six Flags without playing the games and winning some junk! :)

Since the park was practically empty compared to a normal day at Six Flags, Jay was able to ride the Goliath TWICE in a matter of minutes! I am glad he was able to get his big roller coaster fix (and even happier that I could avoid it by staying with Tuttle!)

A HUGE thank you to Grandmommy and Grandaddy for such a special day with Tuttle! We were completely spoiled by them and had the perfect day filled with rides, games, food, and smiles.

We highly recommend going to Six Flags the day after Memorial Day when most people return to work. The longest wait time we experienced was about 20 minutes for Thunder Mountain. I asked a worker about the crowd on Memorial Day, and she said all the rides were a 3+ HOUR wait! Tuttle has no idea what he avoided! :)
