This week we had to come down from our spring break high and return to our normally scheduled program. Disney does not technically feel like a relaxing vacation, so most of us were dragging for the first few days. We did come home to warm, spring weather!
Jacob and I visited Grandma this week at Presbyterian Village. She recently had a fall that has required her to be in the nursing home now, but she looked wonderful when we saw her, and her hair had recently been done. Grandma has been placed on hospice care, but her nurse told us that her health was still strong, and we are praying that she can rest and find comfort with the additional care. She will be 99 in November!
Sometimes being a little brother requires you to put up with your sister's antics, including playing hair salon.
Tuttle and Maggie jumped back into soccer and gymnastics as well as piano. Tuttle is enjoying his additional goalie training once a week, too!
This weekend we celebrated several friends' birthdays. Maggie could not wait to celebrate Kate with a JoJo themed dance party. She decked herself out in head to toe sparkles.
At the last minute we invited the Hidock Family over for pizza and drinks in the front yard. We did not want the night to end. Tuttle was the best big brother wrestling with the two little ones for hours while Maggie and Parker disappeared to play Barbies and make jewelry.Unfortunately Jacob wrapped up the night with a black eye.
We love our sweet neighbors and cannot wait for more reasons to get together now that the weather is cooperating.
