Saturday started off with a haircut for Tuttle and a pirate themed birthday party for Tuttle's buddy, Ryan. Tuttle and Maggie dressed the part and enjoyed a treasure hunt, hitting a piñata, and eating cupcakes.
After naps, we were ready to visit with our neighbors at the annual block party for our street. We offered to host in our yard this year. There was a great turn out, and everyone had fun eating too much and meeting new neighbors. Tuttle and Maggie loved running around with all the big kids on the street. The kids blew bubbles and silly string and later shot off fireworks with the daddies.
Do you want to know the best part of the block party? Tuttle and Maggie slept until 10:45am this morning!!! I woke them up to enjoy biscuits and gravy from our sweet neighbor.
Today I went to the mall and the grocery with Tuttle. It was so nice to spend some time alone with my sweet boy. He picked out a new hat and a big cookie.
