We are definitely feeling the fall weather now and loving it!
It was a pretty normal busy week with the kids, and we added another friend to the mix all week: Gigi's cousin, Elin. Maggie loved having a little girl closer to her age to play princesses with.
Maggie and Tuttle are continuing to love school. We had conferences this week, and I was very impressed with the curriculum in Tuttle's Pre-K class. There is such a strong focus on phonics. I know Tuttle will start sounding out words before we know it!
Friday night the neighborhood girls took me out for my birthday. We ate dinner at Watershed, and I enjoyed the yummiest meal with a southern touch. We stayed out way too late and had the BEST time. I am so lucky to have such sweet friends in my life!
After Tuttle's soccer game Saturday morning where Gram came to cheer on Team France, we took Maggie and Tuttle to another Georgia to cheer on the Dawgs! The kids are definitely old enough attend the games now, so we are trying to take advantage of our tickets and Granny's house. It was the perfect day for our little family to see our team win and to soak up the cool fall weather.
Maggie's favorite part of the game was visiting the cheerleaders down at the hedges. She was waving and blowing kisses to all the girls. I kept telling her that if she keeps practicing gymnastics that she can cheer on the field when she is older. :)
We found Grandaddy's brick at the stadium.
Today we were ABSOLUTELY lazy at Granny's house. The kids stayed in their pajamas until after dinner and loved every second. We are ready for a new week. :)
