Maggie enjoyed a lot of special attention this past weekend with Mommy and Daddy. Since Tuttle and Daddy went to visit Smelly after her surgery, Mommy and Maggie started the weekend with dinner at Panera. It was the perfect occasion to wear a princess dress complete with accessories to eat.
The next morning we lazed at home until around lunch time. We were pampered with manicures and pedicures before we stopped by the grocery store. Maggie was so good at the nail salon. She sat perfectly still for about 30 minutes while her pink nails dried. I had been looking forward to the day when we could do this special activity together.
After grabbing a quick bite at the grocery, I took Maggie to the local college, Oglethorpe University for a quick photo shoot. We both loved exploring the campus. Maggie always thinks the college buildings are a princess castle, so it was easy to bribe her to smile like a princess for the photos. :)
The grand finale of Maggie's special weekend was her first daddy/daughter date on Sunday afternoon. Jay and Maggie went to lunch and to the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts to watch The Wizard of Oz show. Maggie's Halloween costume was the perfect addition to the day.
Maggie is really developing such a sweet and spunky personality, and one-on-on time is just what we needed to fully appreciate our little girl. :)
