Tuttle, Maggie, and I have enjoyed having Gram at the house this week. She is such a big help with both kids, and Tuttle is so upset when she leaves to go home each night. He ropes her into playing whatever his little heart desires, including pushing him around in his dump truck and laying beside him on the baby play mat!
Today, we ventured to Austell to bring my grandma lunch and for her to meet Maggie at her retirement community. Her air-conditioning was being worked on in her apartment, so we visited at the entrance to her building where a bunch of rocking chairs are located. This actually worked out for the best because she was able to show off her newest great-grandchild to all her friends as they passed by.
My grandma is 92 years old and has three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Tuttle enjoyed walking down to the little pond at the retirement community where he saw fish, ducks, and even a little frog.
