Luckily this past weekend was pretty uneventful. June is about to be totally CRAZY, so it was nice to not have anything specific to do.
Our biggest entertainment on Saturday and Sunday was the removal of several large trees in our front yard. We had been needing to take care of this project for a while now. I did not realize what a gigantic task it actually was until I watched a man climb up into the trees for hours sawing down large branches. Two men on the ground chopped them up and hauled them to a truck.
We set up the baby pool for Tuttle and Maggie while Jay and I relaxed in beach chairs. :)
Even Grandmommy came to watch the action (and take us to lunch!).
Sunday was equally as relaxing. We went to church and did our normal Sunday jobs (yard work, grocery store, laundry).
Sometimes you just need a weekend to catch up.
