Preschool Easter Egg Hunt

Today we wrapped up our Easter activities with an egg hunt at Tuttle's preschool. It was postponed until after Easter because the class had spring pictures last Thursday. We loved an excuse to celebrate a little more. Unfortunately Ellie was sick today, so she missed out on the fun, but Tuttle and Maggie really enjoyed the morning.

I dressed Maggie in a cute spring outfit despite the cooler weather. We are ready for spring!

Tuttle and his friends lined up at the starting line. I was impressed how each student had the self control to wait for the hunt.

In regular Tuttle fashion, he wanted to open each egg as he picked it up. I had to instruct him to keep going before all the eggs were gone! :)

I thought it was so sweet when Tuttle wanted to share a special egg with Maggie. As soon as he found it, he told me it was for his sister. (We had mentioned that Maggie was too little to participate in all the egg hunts this season, so Tuttle should share some treasures with her.)

Maggie cheered on her big brother from the sidelines.

Egg hunting is exhausting.

We have already dived head first into spring activities this week. I look for any excuse to be outside. We ventured to The Frosty Caboose for ice cream and have played at the neighborhood park the last two afternoons. The warmer weather and sunshine make the babies and me very happy!

Happy Spring!!
