Burt's Pumpkin Patch

Today we made the trek to Dawsonville, Georgia for our second annual pumpkin patch visit! We left right around Tuttle's nap, so he fell asleep pretty quickly and slept almost the entire time. We hooked up the portable DVD player for any fussy awake time, and it came it handy toward the end of our trip up to North Georgia.

Last year, Tuttle could not even stand up on his own, so I was so excited to see how he would react to the pumpkin patch this year. He started off a little nervous with the large crowd, but he was soon exploring ALL OVER the patch.

Jay and I could not get enough of my new camera. We hooked up the telephoto lens, so we could play around with the new toy. It works great!! Jay took most of the pictures, and he did such an impressive job--he really knows how to find the artisitic angle for a unique shot.

Tuttle touched and picked up everything that he could get his hands on. You are not allowed to sit on the items for sale, so we were constantly peeling our little boy off the gigantic pumpkins. :)

I love continuing this tradition. I know that we are creating holiday memories for Tuttle that he will remember forever, and it is such a big responsibility to make your child's traditions special.

We left Burt's Pumpkin Patch with FOUR bags of boiled peanuts. That made the trip a complete success for Jay!
