**Warning- Super Long Post with TONS of Pictures!**
We had one of the busiest Saturdays ever this weekend. I was so happy when Tuttle woke up feeling better after a rough Friday night. I am thinking it may be allergies, but he was ready to play after a good night's sleep in Mommy and Daddy's bed! :)
We started off with an Easter Egg Hunt at our park. I was not sure if Tuttle would be interested, but he was nipping at the bit to hunt some eggs. We got there early for breakfast, and it was torture for our little boy to wait for the action to start.
We shared some doughnuts with Tuttle's buddy, Jack.
Not thrilled to wait for the hunt! Hehe
The actual hunt literally lasted 30 seconds, but Tuttle ended up with about six eggs. He totally understood the concept of picking up the eggs and putting them in his basket. He was having so much fun and was jumping with excitement! :) He was proud to show off his collection after the hunt was over.
Unfortunately most of his candy turned out to be gum. Obviously it was not the parent of a toddler that packed those eggs! Tuttle did find a few treats that he was eager to eat. He rarely gets candy, so he was devouring his findings.
After a quick nap for Tuttle and a shower for Mommy, we headed to Jett's first birthday party. His mommy, Genesis, is an extreme party planner, so no detail was left undone. It was a monster theme. :)
Tuttle LOVED "feeding the monsters" with the bean bags.
Sweet friends- Genesis, Regan, Danielle, and Rachel
The Birthday Boy- He was not too sure about all the messy cake on his hands!
It is much better if Mommy and Daddy help. :)

After the party, Tuttle enjoyed his party favors and a movie, while Mommy made dinner for Katy and Bennett, Baby Ellie's parents. Ellie will start coming to our house full time after Margaret Ruth is born, so I could not wait to meet the beautiful baby girl. She was perfect and so tiny- I cannot remember Tuttle being so small. :(
Finally, we headed to our last event of the day: Josh and L.J.'s birthday party. L.J. and his daddy's birthdays are one day apart, so the pair hosted a party at their house with chicken and waffles as the main course. Yum!
Tuttle adores L.J.'s kitchen, but it frequently turns into a sharing issue. Tuttle only wants one cook in the kitchen!
Happy Birthday, Josh and L.J.!
Tuttle inhaling more sugar for the day. I am surprised he could fall asleep!
Calley and L.J.
Tuttle and I both fell into bed after our fun and exhausting day. Don't worry, though. Tuttle refused to take off his boots for bedtime!!
