Easter Egg Hunt.....Take Two!

We started our Saturday with an Easter egg hunt at our church. After the egg hunt last weekend, I could not wait for Jay to watch Tuttle's excitement during the action. We were shocked at how many families showed up for the egg hunt. The parking lots were packed, and cops were directing traffic!

There was so much for the kids to enjoy. The church set up inflatable slides, pony rides, and an area filled with bunnies for the kids to pet and chase around. Tuttle loved the bunnies, but he was too quick to get a good picture.

The Easter Bunny made at appearance, as well. Tuttle agreed to get his picture with the bunny, but he needed me there for support. He did crack a smile once the Easter Bunny tickled him. :)

We made sure to arrive at the egg hunt on time. Tuttle was in the 1-2 age group, and I was not sure how long the fun would last since it lasted about 30 seconds last week at the park.

And we are off....

Once Tuttle realized the eggs held candy, he made sure to open each one as he picked them up and stuff his mouth full of more candy. At one point, his mouth was so crammed that he spit six jelly beans into my hand. Yuck!

Tuttle and Daddy had to take inventory of what was left.

We stayed on the field after the crowd had cleared and played. Tuttle insisted on bringing his baseball glove to the church, so he pretended to play baseball with his daddy and some eggs.

Happy Easter!! :)
