Margaret Ruth's Baptism

Today was a special day for our family because Maggie was baptized at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church.

We were excited to celebrate this event with Gram, Grandmommy, Grandaddy, and Aunt Peach. Unfortunately Grumps was visiting his father who was sick with pneumonia.

Flashback to 2010

Tuttle was not in these family pictures after the service because he chose to go to "Little Church" (his nursery class) since "Big Church" didn't have toys. :)

We visited at our house for a little bit after church and ate sub sandwiches from Publix. The grandparents gave Maggie gifts to remember her special day. Gram gave a her beautiful cross necklace that she wore during the baptism, and Grandmommy presented Maggie with a silver cup engraved with her name and birthdate.

Tuttle and Maggie had a little tea party with their baptism silver cups.

We always remember this happy day.

  1. This makes me living in Atlanta so bad! I used to live at 710 Peachtree, next to the FOX. I miss it so so much. I enjoy reading your blog about your 2 precious ones and hearing about life in my old city. We're in Chattanooga now so not too far away.
