Piedmont Park, Round 2

After the kids and I enjoyed Piedmont Park so much on Friday, we decided to see if some of our other friends could meet up with us for a Sunday Funday at Piedmont Park with Daddy. Luckily, the Hortons and the Pooles were interested! We had the best time walking around, visiting with friends, and having a picnic.

We brought Tuttle's bike, so he could get in some practice with Daddy. He insisted that he do it all by himself until the hills became too frustrating. That push handle makes life so much easier.

I could not resist taking some pictures with the city skyline in the background. We LOVE Atlanta!

It was a very relaxing afternoon. Tuttle is at the age where he is pretty self-sufficient and enjoys exploring on his own while still staying pretty close by. Jay got a change to catch-up with his friends and even throw the frisbee, and Maggie caught a quick snooze in the stroller.

The girls snuck away with the kids to feed the ducks. We found a little spot right by the water, and I was sure Tuttle was going to find a way to fall in! (Unlike the Chattahoochee River post, he stayed dry this time.)

It was the PERFECT way to welcome spring. We have already made plans to make this a regular get-together.

Now next time I just need to remember sunscreen since all four of us left with red faces!
