Birthday Celebration Extravaganza

This might have been Maggie's longest birthday celebration ever! The events continued for days, and she loved every minute!

Friday the boys left to spend the weekend in Madison with Grandmommy and Grandaddy while Maggie and I had a girls night out with dinner at Panera (our favorite!) and back to school shopping at Target. I caved and bought several flip sequin pieces and a fun pajama onesie for the party.

Saturday was full of birthday fun starting with a visit to Candytopia with our best friends, Ms. Mary Marshall and Annie. Gram treated everyone to tickets to this fun event for Maggie's birthday. The building consisted of a series of rooms filled with candy sculptures, candy samples, and interactive candy fun. Maggie's favorite spot was the marshmallow pit.

Annie came back with us to set up for the slumber party. She was such a big help, and the girls organized the makeup area, an American Girl doll room, and set the table in unicorn theme for dinner.

Maggie invited her favorite girlfriends for a sleepover. Six sweet girls arrived to celebrate our seven year old girl. It was such a memorable (and LATE!) night. The best part was two middle school girls coming over to do hair, makeup, and nails for the party. The night was filled with pillow fights, a gymnastics movie, a gymnastics competition, decorating cookies, opening presents, and a dance party. The fun finally ended about midnight, but it started again about 5:45am. Needless to say I needed a few naps on Sunday. :)

The festivities did not end with the party. Our favorite neighbor and friend, Ms. Jenna, picked up Maggie on Sunday for lunch at Newks and a trip to Build-a-Bear. Maggie had never gone before, so this was a real treat. She came home with a tie dye bear dressed in glittery shoes and a carrying bag.

Our final stop was dinner to celebrate Aunt Peach and Maggie's birthday at Marlow's Tavern with Grandmommy, Grandaddy, and all the cousins. I loved coordinating the babies in matching outfits which required several pictures!

I think Maggie feels very loved after her week of birthday celebrations! We adore our Moo and cannot wait to see how year seven will unfold!
