Our Maggie Moo turned SEVEN this week on her last day at camp. She was woken up with singing by her counselors, and the celebration continued with a camp wide birthday song at breakfast and a chocolate chip muffin with a candle. I think Maggie will want to be at camp every year on her birthday going forward.
Jacob and I picked her up with a giant balloon and presents which she immediately ripped into the surprises. She also received several packages at camp from friends and family. Amazon Prime for the win!
Maggie revealed that she had several new experiences at camp including canoeing, trying hot sauce, and burning a marshmallow for a s'more (in my opinion, the only way to eat it!). She is ready to return for a whole week next year, but she really wishes it was for the entire summer!
The birthday events will continue this weekend with a visit to Candytopia with Annie and Ms. Mary Marshall before her first slumber party at our house with her closest girlfriends.
We love our sassy, silly, competitive, beautiful seven year old!
