The Final Push

This week has been the final push before Thanksgiving Break, and everyone has been busy wrapping things up before a week of vacation. Jay has been super busy at work and barely leaving his desk to eat. He has definitely earned some relaxation for the holiday!

Tuttle worked hard to prepare for a big math test. He proudly came home with a 96% today after a lot of stress and studying. I have really tried to give Tuttle more independance this year in 5th grade and allow him to take leadership in his performance to prepare for middle school. I do not check him homework unless he asks, and he is responsible for studying and seeking extra help, if needed. He has really rose to the challenge and maintained all A's on his own.

Maggie is still in a cast and moving through life with only one hand. We go for another follow up tomorrow with the orthopedist, but I have no idea what to expect. The whole injury has been a much bigger deal than I initially expected it to be! It has not stopped her from attending gymnastics, but she has to condition when she cannot safely perform the routines.

Jacob enjoyed a feast today in preschool. He requested that I bring corn-on-the cob. There is nothing cuter than a little boy dressed up for a Thanksgiving celebration!

We might be breaking out the Christmas a little early this year, but 2020 gives you a pass to celebrate as much as possible whenever you wish!
