Tuttle participated in his first soccer tournament with his new team this weekend. Our coach has already made an impact on Tuttle's game in the last few weeks, and we are excited to see how much he develops during the season.
The Publix Atlanta Cup was local, but Maggie and Jacob were devoted fans to cheer on their big brother in the August heat. Tuttle spent most of his time in the goal, and he proved himself to the team and the parents that he would be a strong choice for the goalie in future games.
The boys only pulled out one win out of three games, but they played with a lot of heart. Buckhead United should be proud of themselves but also ready to improve for future games and tournaments.
In between games we fit in a family puzzle. Jacob is finally old enough to participate, and everyone helped complete the puzzle in record time.
Regular season games start next weekend, and Tuttle is challenged to prove his position on the team each week to make the A or B game. Let's see what our boy can show on the field!
