The Bolt, Babies, and Ballet (Plus Soccer!)

Our crazy May schedule continued this weekend with four fun events. It was a divide and conquer weekend, so Jay and I really only saw each other in passing!

Much to Tuttle's dislike, Saturday started bright and early with a 7:30am soccer game for Tuttle and an 8:00am start time for the Brookhaven Bolt for Maggie, Jacob, and me.

Maggie's competitive side came out, and she ran the 5K by herself while Jacob and I walked behind with the strollers. Maggie may be tiny, but if there is an athletic award to be given, she is determined to place. She was thrilled to find out she won second place in her age group 0-7 with a 31:48 time which has a 10:14 mile pace! She also placed in the top third of all runners! Go, Maggie Moo!

Daddy and Tuttle knocked out two soccer tournament games with Brookhaven FC on Saturday, and I attended a baby shower to celebrate the newest addition to our college group. Zanna is due with Baby Boy #2 in October. This makes SIXTEEN babies for our friends and only three girls. The boy gene is strong in my friends! :)

I do not see my college friends nearly enough, so I soaked up all the catching up we did at the party. Rachel hosted at her beautiful home in Decatur, and everything looked straight out of a magazine. Zanna was the prettiest pregnant momma ever, and I am so excited for all her new adventures as her little family moves to Las Vegas!

Sunday was just as busy, and it started with another soccer game for Tuttle. Jay kept Maggie and Jacob at the house, so it was an easier morning.

Our final big event of the weekend was Holland's ballet recital for the girls while the boys finished Tuttle's soccer tournament. We loved watching our favorite tiny dancer on stage!

We have finally made it to the LAST week of school. We are looking forward to a little relaxation soon!
