Ashford Park

Although the summer heat is climbing higher by the day, Tuttle and I still cannot resist getting outside for a couple of hours each day. We have the best park right down the street for us that is perfect for little kids. A train track runs behind the playground and planes/helicopters can be seen flying overhead toward the nearby airport. It has also turned into a toy graveyard, so families will drop off old toys for anyone to play with. A lot of the riding toys are broken or have a busted wheel, but Tuttle loves climbing into the driver's seat or pushing the toy along the side walk.

Today, we met up with my friend, Laurel, and her fifteen month old son, James. He is seriously the cutest baby (other than Tuttle, of course!) and always in a great mood! Tuttle loves his buddy!

Such a cutie!!
The park also has a HUGE sandbox that Tuttle enjoys exploring. He hates getting messy food on his hands, but being COVERED in sand does not bother him at all. :)

Taking a break for some water and train watching

If we ever leave Brookhaven, we will miss Ashford Park so much!
