Toddler Thursday at the High Museum

Tuttle went on a fun adventure today with his Aunt Peach! She took him to Toddler Thursday at the High Museum. What a treat, especially going with a real artist! Aunt Peach is an elementary school art teacher, as well as a fantastic artist. Every room of our apartment features an "Aunt Peach Original."

She took a ton of pictures, so she could capture the day for me!

They started with an "X Marks the Spot" painting project. Tuttle had trouble understanding not to eat the paint since they were using spoons to paint with. :) He was not happy that he could not sample the materials!

Soon the budding artist got the hang of it, and he had a blast creating his first masterpiece.

I didn't realize the High Museum has so much to offer kids. Tuttle played in their art playroom. It has blocks, interactive sculptures, and a magnet board.

Tuttle's favorite interactive sculpture was the motorcycle. He was "driving" it all over the room!

Finally, Aunt Peach took Tuttle to storytime, but he was too squirmy to sit still and listen. Imagine that!

Tuttle had the best time! We love you, Aunt Peach!!
