Hilton Head, Part II

We did go to Hilton Head last year when Tuttle was almost three months old, but he literally slept the whole time, so he did not really experience the beach. I could not wait to see his reaction to the sand and waves!

Jay was so worn out from the triathlon that he napped in the room, so Grandmommy, Grandaddy, Aunt Peach, and I took Tuttle out to the beach. It was a HUGE success! He loved the water and thought it was the funniest thing to jump over the waves. The sand was absolutely fascinating to him, and his beach toys (courtesy of Grandmommy) were put to good use! :)

That night, we braved taking Tuttle out to dinner with Jay's dad's employees and a manufacturer from whom Gresco purchases. We have started a tradition of Grandaddy, Daddy, and Tuttle wearing seersucker pants and a white polo at the beach. They are a good looking group of men! :)

Wow! The difference a year makes!!

He did pretty good...no tears, but we had to take shifts, so he could walk around. He was not interested in sitting in the highchair!

At this point, the trip was already flying by way too fast!!
